I had just put the bowl full of lime jello out in the sun in order to photograph the fishy. As I set it down I realized I had to take the picture even though the fish was not yet atop the jello. There's something more intriguing about this photo - because you can't see the fish, so you don't have any context. If I don't tell you it's lime jello, then it really could be anything...you might not even know the green stuff is in a bowl.

In the same vein as the painting by Magritte ("Ce n'est pas un Pipe"), this one should be called, "This is not Jello."
